2nd place at the Manhattan Beach 6 man for Lyon Stahl!

For the first time ever, Lyon Stahl had a team competing in the famous Manhattan Beach 6-Man Beach Volleyball Tournament, which took place this weekend by the Manhattan Beach Pier. After battling for 2 days on the burning sand of Southern California, the Lyon Stahl Team made its way to the Championship match. After winning the first set 15-12, Lyon Stahl lost against the 2017 6-Man runner-up, “Spyder/Res Ipsa” to finish with an impressive 2nd place!

Spyder/Res Ipsa’s roster was stacked with former national-teamer Kris Johnson, FIVB competitor Casey Patterson, AVP champion Ed Ratledge, as well as college players and former players with National titles in their careers. On the other side of the net, the Lyon Stahl Team countered with players and former players from Santa Barbara, UCLA, UCI, and Hawaii. Most importantly, the Lyon Stahl team included office manager Derek Palmer, team leader Matt Marsh, lead director Parker Boehle, lead coordinator Duncan Backus, and associate agent Mike Fisher. While the players were battling on the court, partners Brett Lyon and Woody Stahl, as well as the rest of the Lyon Stahl office were cheering on the sideline to see their favorite team and their office emblem get to the top!
